Best time to post on Facebook on Wednesday
Wednesday behaves like Tuesday and Thursday on Facebook: a settled midweek audience in normal browsing rhythms. Use the same windows you would use on the other midweek days. In our own data that window is 9am–1pm in audience local time, peaking at 11am.

What makes Wednesday different on Facebook
Wednesday has nothing structurally distinctive about it on Facebook. It sits in the middle of the settled midweek block and behaves like the days on either side of it — same availability, same competing volume, same browsing habits.
The only mild difference worth knowing is runway: a Wednesday post has fewer days left in the week to accumulate comment-driven re-promotion than a Tuesday one, and fewer than it needs to reliably straddle into weekend browsing the way a Thursday post can.

Frequently asked questions
Is Wednesday a good day to post on Facebook?
Yes, and for the same reasons Tuesday and Thursday are: your audience is in a settled routine and reachable in ordinary break windows. There is no Wednesday-specific effect on Facebook worth planning around.
Is Wednesday better than Tuesday on Facebook?
Not in any way that shows up reliably. They are close enough that your own Page's data should decide it. If anything, Tuesday has marginally more remaining week for a post to keep circulating.
What should I post on Facebook on Wednesday?
Treat it as prime midweek inventory: the content you most want people to comment on and share. If you publish a strong piece on Tuesday, Wednesday is the natural place for the follow-up or the discussion prompt attached to it.
Do the best Wednesday times differ from other weekdays?
Not materially. The same mid-morning, lunch-break and post-dinner availability pattern applies across the midweek days, so a schedule that works on Tuesday should be reused rather than re-derived.
Stop looking up posting times
A benchmark table is an average of other people's audiences. Bolta's Optimal Time reads your own Facebook history and schedules each post into the window that actually works for your account — then keeps adjusting as the audience shifts.
Methodology
Facebook Wednesday figures are aggregated from 11,258 posts published through Bolta across 104 accounts, April 2026 to July 2026. Times are expressed in audience-local.
Audience-local starting windows from the prior Bolta recommendation baseline. These are a defensible starting point, not account-specific optimization; use Bolta's Optimal Time once your own audience history is available.
