Refund Policy for Bolta
Last Updated: 4-9-2026
This Refund Policy governs all purchases made through Bolta Platforms, Inc. ("Bolta," "we," "us," or "our"). By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this policy.
1. Lifetime Access Purchases
All Lifetime Access purchases (including, but not limited to BoltAThread Lifetime, DevConsole Lifetime, and any future lifetime offerings) are final sale and non-refundable.
Lifetime Access provides immediate and perpetual access to our services, tools, and intellectual property. As a result:
- No refunds
- No credits
- No partial reimbursements
are issued once a Lifetime purchase is completed, regardless of usage.
2. No Refund After Use
Accessing or using any part of the Bolta platform — including but not limited to generating content, scheduling posts, accessing analytics, using AI agents, activating integrations, or viewing platform features — will render the purchase ineligible for refund.
Users are expected to contact support for any issues prior to requesting a refund or initiating a dispute.
3. Usage Equals Value Delivered
Bolta is a software-as-a-service platform. Accessing the platform or using any feature constitutes delivery of the service.
Dissatisfaction with results, changes in business needs, or a change of mind do not qualify for a refund and do not indicate non-delivery of the service.
Any determination of defect is made at Bolta’s reasonable discretion based on technical evaluation.
4. Definition of Defective Service
A refund request on the basis of a defective service will only be considered where all of the following are true:
- The issue is a reproducible, documented technical failure that prevented access to core platform functionality
- The failure is verifiable by Bolta's engineering and support team
- The user contacted support before initiating any dispute or refund request
- Bolta was given a reasonable opportunity to diagnose and resolve the issue
The following are explicitly not considered defects: UI preferences, platform learning curve, dissatisfaction with AI-generated content, failure to achieve business results, or feature functionality that differs from expectation but operates as designed.
5. Subscription Plans & Trial Conversions
No Automatic Refunds
All subscription payments are non-refundable by default.
Refunds are not guaranteed and are considered only in exceptional circumstances.
24-Hour Unused Refund Window
A refund request may be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:
- The request is submitted within 24 hours of the initial charge
- The account shows zero meaningful usage of the platform — no content generated, no features accessed beyond account creation
- No content, data, reports, media, or outputs have been exported, published, downloaded, or monetized
- The request is a first-time refund request associated with the account
- The user has contacted support and allowed Bolta the opportunity to resolve the issue prior to requesting a refund
Requests that do not meet all of the above criteria will be denied.
6. Usage Logs & Evidence
Refund eligibility is determined solely by Bolta Platforms, Inc. internal system logs and activity records, which serve as the final and authoritative evidence of usage.
Bolta maintains comprehensive activity records including, but not limited to: login history, session activity, feature interactions, content generation events, scheduling activity, analytics access, API calls, and AI agent usage. These records may be referenced in response to refund requests, disputes, and chargeback claims.
Accounts showing any meaningful use — including but not limited to content generation, scheduling, analytics access, automation, integrations, or AI usage — are not eligible for refunds.
These records are used as the primary basis for determining eligibility and resolving disputes.
7. Support First Requirement
Before initiating any refund request, dispute, or payment reversal, users are required to contact Bolta support at support@bolta.ai and allow a minimum of 3 business days for the support team to investigate and attempt resolution.
Failure to contact support prior to filing a dispute or chargeback constitutes a breach of this policy and will be noted in our response to any resulting payment processor review.
8. Trials & Cancellation Responsibility
Trial periods are provided so users may evaluate the platform before being charged.
It is the user's responsibility to cancel before the trial ends.
Failure to cancel prior to conversion does not constitute grounds for a refund.
9. Abuse, Fraud & Chargeback Clause
We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases involving:
- Abuse or misuse of the platform
- Excessive or repeated refund requests
- Unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute filings
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Fraudulent or misleading claims regarding usage or access
Filing an unauthorized chargeback or payment dispute — particularly where platform usage is documented — may result in immediate account suspension or permanent termination, forfeiture of all remaining access and credits, and referral to collections or legal proceedings where applicable.
Bolta will submit documented activity logs, session records, and relevant communications to the payment processor in response to any dispute. Users who initiate chargebacks on accounts with documented usage accept that Bolta will contest those disputes with this evidence.
10. Final Authority
All refund decisions are made at Bolta Platforms, Inc.’s reasonable discretion, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
11. How to Request a Refund or Withdrawal
Submit your request via the following:
Email: support@bolta.ai
Include:
- Your account email
- Purchase date
- Purchased plan name
- Reason for request (optional)
12. EU Right of Withdrawal & Statutory Rights
If you reside in the EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right to withdraw from any digital subscription unless you have:
- Explicitly consented to immediate service access at purchase, and
- Acknowledged that you thereby waive this withdrawal right.
If you did not waive withdrawal at checkout, you may cancel within 14 days of your order date for a full refund. This Policy does not affect any non-waivable statutory rights under applicable local laws.
