The deep dive on Bolta Campaigns — angles, briefs, content plans, post prompts, the weekly generation beat, and how to read what a campaign actually did.

## Summary

Course overview for "Campaigns And Strategy" in Bolta University. The full course text follows.

## Who this is for

- Founders
- Creators
- Marketing teams
- Agencies

## Limitations and boundaries

- Course material describes the product and the platforms at the time of writing; verify current behaviour in the app.
- Social network features, limits, and algorithms change independently of Bolta.
- Current prices and plan limits must be verified on the Bolta pricing page.

Most social media "strategy" is a schedule with a mood board attached. A Bolta
Campaign is narrower and more useful than that: a **themed, time-boxed body of
content with exactly one editorial angle**, a window measured in weeks, a
content plan you can count, and a result you can read at the end.

This course covers the whole object — how an angle steers what gets written,
where the brief comes from when you type nothing at all, what Bolta can
genuinely produce versus what it will tell you it cannot, how a plan becomes
individual posts with real times on them, and how to tell the difference
between a campaign that failed and one that simply has not started yet.

It is a deep dive. If you want the fast version, run the Campaigns page, pick
the recommended angle, and press create — that path is designed to work with
zero typed input. Everything here is about what happens after that.

### Module 1: What a Campaign Actually Is

- A themed push, not a standing arrangement — and the map of all four objects
- The three unrelated things Bolta calls "campaign", and which one you use
- What a campaign owns, and what it deliberately does not

### Module 2: Campaigns & Agents — Who Does What

- Plan versus worker, and how a campaign runs through an agent
- Which agent is chosen, and why a paused one stops the campaign
- Why a campaign has no autonomy setting and can never auto-publish

### Module 3: Routines — The Standing Schedule

- What a Routine is: states, triggers and approval policy
- The three questions that decide routine or campaign
- Running both, with the routine as the floor and campaigns as the peaks

### Module 4: Campaigns & the Content Calendar

- What the calendar answers that a campaign page cannot
- Campaign chips, multi-campaign posts, and drafts versus commitments
- Which surface to edit in, and the three things people get wrong

### Module 5: The Six Strategies

- The angle axis, and why generation needs one
- All six angles, what each is for, and the instruction that reaches the writer
- Telling from week one that you picked the wrong angle

### Module 6: The Brief — Zero-Input Creation

- What gets written for you, what is derived, and what stays yours
- The four context tiers, and what a thin brief honestly looks like
- Steering the brief: where information goes and how far it reaches

### Module 7: Windows, Weeks & Cadence

- One to four weeks, and why four is the ceiling
- The content mix is a weekly rate, not a total
- Sizing a campaign to the review capacity you actually have

### Module 8: Content Types — What Bolta Can Actually Make

- The registry of formats, and why the mix cannot contain invented types
- Producible, greyed-with-a-reason, and produced-but-not-sent
- Which formats suit which platforms, and when the media arrives

### Module 9: The Content Plan & Post Prompts

- Plan rows: format, count, accounts, days
- Expansion into individual post prompts with real proposed times
- Three worked plans, and how to read one for problems

### Module 10: Context, Sources & Per-Campaign Settings

- Campaign context notes, and why they reach every week's brief
- Attaching webpages and files, and what "ready" actually means
- Choosing settings for agency work, launches and other registers

### Module 11: Lifecycle, Generation & the Weekly Beat

- The six lifecycle states and the transitions between them
- What activation actually starts, and one run per producer per week
- A campaign week, start to finish, and the two steps where it stalls

### Module 12: Reading Results Honestly

- Four outcomes, split on two axes that most tools conflate
- Why "published" is counted per account, not per post
- Ten reasons a campaign published nothing — and what results cannot tell you

### Module 13: Best Practices & Playbooks

- The operating rhythm, and the one habit that matters most
- Four complete playbooks: launch, promotion, thought leadership, first campaign
- Multi-brand and agency work, and the mistakes that cost the most

### Module 14: Troubleshooting — Symptom to Cause

- The thirty-second diagnosis from three things on the page
- Nothing generating, and nothing publishing — in checking order
- Content that is wrong rather than broken, and how to tell which
