Plan, review, and schedule social content in Bolta.

## Summary

Bolta's content calendar connects planned and approved content to scheduling rather than treating the calendar as an isolated list of posts.

## Who this is for

- Creators
- Marketing teams
- Agencies

## Core capabilities

- Plan upcoming content
- Review schedule coverage
- Coordinate approved posts across connected accounts

## Limitations and boundaries

- Publishing availability and metadata depend on each social network's API and account permissions.
- A calendar shows intent; it does not guarantee a network will accept a post at the requested moment.

## A calendar connected to approval, not beside it

Most content calendars are a separate artefact: a spreadsheet or a board that describes what someone intends to publish, maintained by hand alongside the tool that actually publishes. Bolta's calendar is the scheduled state of real posts, so what appears on it is what will go out, and moving something on the calendar moves the actual schedule rather than a note about it.

## What the calendar makes visible

Coverage gaps across the week, network imbalance, and everything currently waiting on a reviewer. Those three are the usual reasons a pipeline stalls: nobody notices the empty Thursday, one network quietly gets all the attention, or six drafts are sitting unapproved. Seeing them in one place is what keeps a cadence honest.

## Can the calendar be planned before content exists?

Yes. Slots can be planned ahead of the drafts that will fill them, which is how a cadence is set before the work is done. The calendar then shows which planned slots still have nothing approved against them.

## Does moving a post on the calendar change when it publishes?

Yes. The calendar is the schedule rather than a description of it, so rescheduling there changes the actual publish time for the connected account.
